Welcome to ReelWalia. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ReelWalia, the vertical drama streaming platform operated by Walia Studios (“Walia Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), available at reelwalia.com and related applications and services (collectively, the “Service”).
ReelWalia is a Walia Studios product, founded and operated by Dagmawi Abebe, based in Los Angeles, California, United States (LLC formation pending).
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, subscribing, watching content, or otherwise using ReelWalia, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms
- You agree to comply with them and our Privacy Policy
- You are at least 13 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement (or, if you are 13–17, you have permission from a parent or legal guardian)
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
ReelWalia is a vertical drama streaming platform designed for mobile-first viewing. The Service allows you to:
- Stream bite-sized episodic series produced by Walia Studios and its partners
- Watch a selection of free episodes without a subscription
- Access additional premium episodes with an active paid subscription
- Save progress, manage a watchlist, and sign in across devices
Content on ReelWalia may include live-action productions, AI-assisted creative works, and hybrid formats, all curated under the Walia Studios brand. We may add, remove, or modify series, episodes, features, and pricing at any time.
We strive to keep the Service available and enjoyable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific release schedules, or permanent availability of any particular title.
3. Account Registration and Security
3.1 Account Requirements
To access certain features (including premium episodes and account management), you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information
- Maintain only one personal account (unless we authorize otherwise)
- Be at least 13 years old
- Keep your login credentials confidential
You may sign up using a magic link sent to your email or through Google OAuth.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at dagmawiabebe19@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account where you failed to safeguard your credentials.
3.3 Guest Checkout
If you subscribe without an existing account, we will create an account using the email address you provide during Stripe Checkout. You are responsible for maintaining access to that email for sign-in and billing communications.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
4.1 Subscription Plans
ReelWalia offers auto-renewing subscription plans. Current plans include:

Prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
4.2 Introductory Pricing
Intro pricing applies to your first billing period for the plan you select. After the introductory period ends, your subscription automatically renews at the standard renewal price shown above unless you cancel before the renewal date.
We will clearly display intro and standard pricing before you complete purchase. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge the intro price initially and subsequent standard prices on a recurring basis until you cancel.
4.3 Auto-Renewal
All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled. You authorize recurring charges to your payment method on file with Stripe.
You can cancel anytime via your account page at reelwalia.com/account or through the Stripe customer billing portal linked from your account. Cancellation stops future charges but does not retroactively refund the current period (see Refund Policy below).
4.4 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy practices. We do not store your full payment card details.
If a payment fails, we may suspend access to premium content until payment is resolved. Stripe may retry failed charges according to its policies.
4.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices in the future. If we increase the price of your plan, we will provide advance notice as required by law. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance unless you cancel before renewal.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Your ReelWalia account page at
/account - The Stripe billing portal accessible from your account
When you cancel:
- You retain access to premium content until the end of your current paid billing period
- Your subscription will not renew for subsequent periods
- Your account may remain active for free content and account management
Cancellation does not delete your account automatically. You may request account deletion separately by emailing dagmawiabebe19@gmail.com.
6. Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for completed billing periods. When you subscribe, you receive immediate access to premium content for the period you paid for. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access until the period ends, but we do not prorate or refund unused time except where required by law.
We may issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion in limited circumstances, including:
- Duplicate charges or clear billing errors
- Extended technical failures on our side that materially prevented access to paid content for a sustained period
- Legal requirements in your jurisdiction
Refund requests: email dagmawiabebe19@gmail.com with your account email, date of charge, and description of the issue. We typically respond within 5–10 business days.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
7. Free Episodes and Premium Content
Some series offer a number of free episodes (typically early episodes in a season) that anyone can watch without a subscription.
Premium (paywalled) episodes require an active paid subscription. Access is personal, non-transferable, and limited to streaming through the Service during your subscription term.
We may change which episodes are free or premium at any time.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use ReelWalia only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:
- Share your account credentials or subscription with others outside your household
- Download, rip, copy, redistribute, broadcast, or publicly perform content except as expressly allowed by the Service
- Circumvent digital rights management, paywalls, geographic restrictions, or security measures
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service or content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Upload malware, interfere with servers, or engage in denial-of-service attacks
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Use the Service for fraud, harassment, or any illegal activity
- Resell or commercially exploit access to the Service or its content
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
9. Content Ownership and License
9.1 Our Content
All content available on ReelWalia — including video, audio, graphics, logos, text, thumbnails, and software — is owned by Walia Studios or licensed to us by third parties and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited license below, no rights are transferred to you.
9.2 Limited Streaming License
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream content through the Service for private, non-commercial viewing on supported devices.
You may not download, copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content unless we give written permission.
The “ReelWalia” name, Walia Studios branding, and related marks are our property. You may not use them without prior written consent.
10. User-Generated Content
ReelWalia is currently a viewing-only platform. We do not offer public posting, comments, or user uploads at this time.
If we introduce user-generated features in the future, additional terms may apply. By submitting content, you would grant Walia Studios a license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service. Until then, this section is reserved for future use.
11. DMCA Copyright Policy
Walia Studios respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on ReelWalia infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to our designated agent with:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material on ReelWalia that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (series title, episode number, URL)
- Your contact information (address, phone, email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may stop using the Service at any time. Cancel your subscription via /account and optionally request account deletion by email.
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you:
- Violated these Terms or applicable law
- Engaged in fraud or abuse
- Harmed other users, Walia Studios, or the Service
Upon termination for cause, we are not obligated to provide refunds for unused subscription time.
12.3 Effect of Termination
Sections that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations accrued, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive termination.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WALIA STUDIOS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Content will meet your expectations or remain available
- Defects will be corrected
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties; in those cases, our disclaimers apply to the maximum extent permitted.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- WALIA STUDIOS AND ITS OWNER, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO WALIA STUDIOS FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100)
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages; in those cases, our limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Walia Studios, Dagmawi Abebe, and our affiliates, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
- Any content you submit if user-generated features are introduced
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification; you agree to cooperate with us.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute not subject to arbitration (where permitted) lies in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
17. Dispute Resolution
We want to resolve issues fairly and quickly.
Step 1 — Contact us first: Before filing a formal dispute, email dagmawiabebe19@gmail.com with a description of the problem and your desired resolution. We will try to resolve the matter within 30 days.
Step 2 — Binding arbitration: If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Walia Studios agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except as modified by this section.
- Class action waiver: Disputes must be brought individually, not as a class or representative action
- Small claims: Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court in Los Angeles County
- Injunctive relief: Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property misuse or unauthorized access
If any part of this arbitration section is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect to the extent permitted by law.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Last updated” date above
- Notify registered users by email and/or post a notice on the Service
Continued use of ReelWalia after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
19. General Provisions
19.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Walia Studios regarding the Service.
19.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
19.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
19.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
19.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including natural disasters, internet outages, third-party service failures, or government actions).
